Terms and Conditions

Please read all sections on this page thoroughly.  You will be asked to acknowledge these terms, conditions and policies upon registering.

  • This retreat is for anyone 18 years of age and older. We are not able to accommodate children.  
  • Everyone will be required to sign a waiver of participation and these terms and conditions at the start of the Cosmic Soul Healing retreat.  
  • We reserve the right to refuse attendance to anyone.    
  • The accommodations will be hostel style (meaning you may need to share a room with someone or sleep on the sofa). Bathrooms will be shared and they are co-ed. If this is not acceptable to you, please let us know before reserving and we will do our best to accommodate you in town in a private room, for an additional fee. You may need your own transportation to and from your private accommodation to the Chateau Retreat Center. Some attendees may stay at the Chateau Retreat Center and we have reserved another Airbnb. If you are staying in an Airbnb we reserved, we will provide transportation to and from the Chateau Retreat Center. We reserve the right to change any of the accommodations based on availability. You may not know your exact accommodation until a few days before the retreat.    
  • The following is NOT included in the retreat fee: transportation to and from your home to Eastsound, WA on Orcas Island, some meals, car rental, and personal items.   
  • Cosmic Soul Healing is not responsible for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the participant. Cosmic Soul Healing shall not be liable for any natural disasters, war, ‘acts of God’, accidents, illnesses, or injury that might take place by attending the Cosmic Soul Healing Retreat. 
  • Cosmic Soul Healing is not liable for any injuries to the participant in his/her attendance of the retreat, activity during the Sound Healing or use of the Toad Medicine. We cannot guarantee any expected results from anything you participate in at the retreat. Everyone’s experience is different. We cannot guarantee that you will have a wonderful experience with the Toad Medicine journey, however the majority of people do. You may not have any sort of experience at all, depending on your mental state. Depending on your inner state, you may also experience some terror with the Toad Medicine, however this is very unlikely. Physically, some people are very animated and move around a lot and others are very relaxed and don’t move at all during their journey. Please come with no expectations and just let the experience determine what is best for you at that moment. Please note that you will be in a group of people and each individual journey takes between 15 and 45 minutes and you will receive the full attention of the Shaman during this time. The rest of the people in the group are observing and holding space for the one going through the experience.     

Cancellation Policy

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Due to our large upfront overhead costs, if you cancel your trip, Cosmic Soul Healing Retreats does not offer refunds. We will gladly transfer credit to another guest of your choice. If we are able to fill all 20 retreat spots  prior to 30 days before the start of the retreat, we will refund you all but the $500 non-refundable reservation fee that would cover administrative, marketing and Paypal fees. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc.), but we have costs already incurred. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the case that your plans change.   

Payment Policy

There are a maximum of 20 spaces available. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required within 5 business days of your reservation in order to secure your spot. All fees are in USD. Full payment is due 60 days before the event or by July 21st, 2017.  

Travel and Cancellation Insurance

Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation. Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for trip cancellation. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance may pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. One travel insurance company is TRAVELGUARD by AIG, which offers a variety of travel insurances, including the option for a “cancel for any reason” policy, which will reimburse you 50% of your forfeited deposits and travel costs. You must contact Travelguard and purchase the policy within 15 days of buying your airline tickets or incurring any costs for any part of your travel. We don’t recommend any particular travel insurance agency, but Travelguard allows you to easily purchase your policy online. Please be sure to read the policy so you know what is covered if you need to cancel.  

If We Must Cancel The Retreat

If Cosmic Soul Healing must cancel a booked retreat for any reason, you may request a full refund of your payment to us, constituting a full settlement. Cosmic Soul Healing is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
